The Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society (MVDS) is a group of dahlia enthusiasts in the greater Youngstown, Ohio area. We exist to encourage interest in the cultivation of the dahlia, to work toward a better understanding of the dahlia, to increase public awareness of the dahlia, and to have FUN!
We have regular meetings at Boardman Park, sponsor a tuber sale in the spring, have a picnic in the summer, and a Harvest Celebration in the fall. We also have juried show each August. This show is open to the public.
